The Boy at Church (Extended Edit)Every Sunday, I see him there
On the opposite side of the sanctuary.
Jet black is the color of his hair
And just looking at him makes me weary.
I try to think the hue of his eyes
Greenish-hazel, if I remember it right.
From what I see, obviously nice
Very polite and charmingly bright.
He sports a faint stubble
As I catch a glance.
On my nail I nibble
Trying to break off the trance.
Our age lies not too far,
Him one year my senior.
A mature look that can't dar
Along with his pupils of deep noir.
His skin much lighter than mine,
With a slight but lively tan.
From God, it could be a sign
To assign me this young man.
His voice is like a dream,
A comforting deep timbre,
To a shy interested teen
As I listen and linger.
Though hypnotized, love I can't conclude
For personally, I never knew him well;
But still, I hope to soon pursue
Until then, nothing but a crush, it will dwell.

Peeta rinses the pearl off in the water and hands it to me. "For you." I hold it out on my palm and examine its iridescent surface in the sunlight. Yes, I will keep it. For the few remaining hours of my life I will keep it close. This last gift from Peeta. The only one I can really accept. Perhaps it will give me strength in the final moments. "Thanks," I say, closing my fist around it. I look coolly into the blue eyes of the person who is now my greatest opponent, the person who would keep me alive at his own expense.

I'm reading that book right now! I finished the first one in a week! I'm at the part where the old woman, Mags, died. I almost cried! When I read Cinna's death, I almost screamed, "DAMN THE CAPITOL!!!!" yesterday in public! That was so unfair!
