I'm certainy in the Bambi zone againafter such a long time now that I got this super-cool Bambi second screen app on my iPad and I was inspired by the AMAZING ancient art by Ollie Johnston, Frank Thomas, Milt Kahl, Mel Shaw, Tyrus Wong and many other inspiring artists.

I loved the pencil tests done by the awsome animation legends Ollie Johnston and Frank Thomas, both of them making Walt Disney himself cry at their work commenting that it was "pure gold". And so, I wanted to pay tribute to all those who worked on Bambi: animators, character designers, landscape artists, storymen, ink and paint; with this and another piece coming very soon.

Yes, I love Bambi with all my heart. :heart: You wanna know production stories, I know 'em. Especially the casting of Peter Behn, Thumper's voice. That's a classic.
